In the last few days(Jan21-29):

Average meditation hours(2.5-3)

Lots of subtle itching during or after meditation:

Forehead, tow sides along the nose, top head, lips(upper),back(near shoulder), tip of earlope

Sort of "electrical nerve" feeling: right back of palm.

Last night(1/28/09), after one hour or so straight sitting, then I moved neck, like robot(not flexible, but no pain), very focused sit I felt.

Everyday remaining 50 prostration, good practice, I think should keep it(while with the frequent late sleep due to Chinese new year, morning sit started around 7:30am or 9am)

Jan.21, 2009

After Daniel talked about the importance of the devotional mind faculty, I decided to prostrate to the Buddha every morning before sit (maybe tomorrow I start to make 50 prostrations each day)(the past few days, I went to balcony to have some simple body movements to warm up my body).

Morning sit: very sleepy.

Also take Daniel's advice, at least have some time for meditation in the day time, I managed to have 5 mins sit before 1pm, then went to work. Not bad.

I felt today quite calm though whole afternoon work till 6pm.

Evening sit at 11:00pm-12:30am:
1. Not sleepy as I expected(because I worked today.)
2. Sometimes I felt the out air was cool(it should be warm?), don't know why.
3. I think my leg can sustain longer meditation: almost no pain now, and can stand up immediately.
4. one or two minutes, inside right ear was very itching.
5. Recent few days, I felt upper nose was quite heavy sometimes and sometimes, I can felt the circle-like tiny tingle around the nose area when I breathed in.
6. I still think mind was not sharp enough although much concentrated than before.

Jan.20, 2009

morning sit at 6:00-7:00.

very sleepy.

go to bed after that.

Noon sit at 1:30 pm, very sleepy. walked in the living room 5 mins and back to sit, still the same. So I slept in sofa for more than one hour.

5:00pm sat again. I thought that was a very good sit-probably the best one ever, could concentrate quite long, but I felt the mind is not so sharp although quite focused.

Night sit at 11:30-12:30, normal.

Go to bed at 1:00am.

Jan.19, 2009

Sat at 6:10-7:00am.

first morning sit after retreat.

I am trying to build up a daily practice habit, though felt sleepy, ok with this.

Go to bed after that till 9:00.

Afternoon sit begun around 2:00, quite sleepy.

May be I went to bed too late last night.

Jan.18, 2009

This is the first sit after retreat led by Culadasa form Jan.9-Jan 18, 2009.

And I think I need to note my meditation experiences. This blog will be the place for such purpose.

Begun to sit at 11:30 at living room, 5 mins break at 12:30 and continued 1:00am.

Though a bit tired after tripping back, dinner, and washing. The sit was quite good still.

Leg almost no pain.
